My brain is likewise going all crazy. Arts + Science is tricky: You have to be all creative and writing stuff (which is kinda like on a lunar cycle, where you have one class each week, ( like the differant moon phaze you get each week)where you build up to things, work up to the full moon getting the assessment done, and then slowly work your way to the next topic. and there's about 4 things per semester...like full moons!) and then there is the science, which is more like a solar cycle,( where, you kinda have to do something little everyday to kept up with things, and then something big happens, like the Autumn or Spring Equinox (umm, a midsemester test per semester) and then the biggie: a Winter or Summer solstice (the final exam AAAGGHH!!)
The problem is..that even though in real life the full moon is this friday, and the Winter solstice is around June 21st...in terms of the very long "Seasons of Uni" analogy, a full moon and Solstice are both happening for me on Monday June 4th. AArrgh! Monday = Moon Day= A full Uni Eclipse!, complete with villagers dancing around a campfire in Romania to keep out the vampires!!
Lets hope we get our little eclipse viewer things ready in time! ( you know those stupid little things with the slit in them?...I haven't figured out what they are in the analogy. And, seeing as this reply is already wayyyy to long. I might just add that I am in love with art-house Icelandic and Danish films, in particular the icelandic "Cold Light" and the Danske "Murk". I think a have to live in one of those places for a bit...if the movies are anything to go by.
