So whilst showing today, for some reason i was thinking of the book "A Million Little Pieces."
It was a big seller a few years ago when i bought it; it's about a drug & alcohol addict who is sent to the AA camp... the kind where you stay at 24/7 for several months until they think you're "cured".
Although i'm not, never have been & never plan to be a drug nor alcohol addict, i found this book really inspiring & uplifting & could easily recommend it to someone who needs it.  It's a decent sized book; also an easy read.  Filled with lots of drama & odd twists to keep you turning the pages.

& then i thought about how many parodies of this book i've seen.  Smaller written book which people have written to make fun of James Frey (The author; the  main char. it's said to be a memoir but it's so "out there" i think some events might have been exaggurated or rewrote for enticing the reader.), mock the events he's gone through, & harass many aspects of the book.
After reading the first few pages of these parodies, i've had to ask, "Why?"  A Million Little Pieces is an uplifting inspiration, if it can help one person.. just one.. that's above average.

Anyway, i'm off to class.  If you have some extra time, even if you're not an addict, i'd recommend you to pick up this book.  I think i'm going to add it to my list of to-reads (about 9 of those sitting in front of me right now x.X)
