congratulations to all the dads out there

today i was with a friend in ferndale
and i yelled out the window "DAD!"
to some old black man sweeping his yard,
and he waved.
im sure he will hunt me down
and shoot me continously
repeating "im not yo dad bitch"
and the only rebuttle
ill have is
"thats not what momma said"

to add to it...
before this magnificent-ness happened;
i saw one of those plastic-paper covers
that are the seals
underneath the gatorade tops..
you know..
the one that keeps the "freshness."
well i saw one in the parking lot
and kicked it
and was like
oo karlee its a quarter..
and she stoped
dead in her tracks
and turned around
and was about to pounce on it
before she realized
that it was just one of those thingies.
it was fucking great.
its one of those things
that should have been recorded.
