A look back at 2005... 40 questions about 2005.
1) Was 2005 a good year for you? I suppose so.
2) What was your favorite memory of the year? Garrett spontaneously spouting out "I love you" to me... and LaurenKate being born, and the look on my sister's face when she realized we painted the nursery.
3) What was your least favorite memory of the year? any fight with ben, the panic attack recently, or some miscommunications over the summer.
4) Where were you when 2005 began? Cali baby... why can't I remember what I was doing??
5) Who were you with? ok, after moments of pondering and finally a LJ check back to January... I remembered I spent last new years at my cousin's house in Fremont, with him, Nick, Sean, Kelley, Casey, ALIX LOPEZ!, annnnnnd I think that was it. It was the pinnacle of the me being fed up with Casey, cause he spent the whole night talking with MY friends, about me and our relationship (while I proceeded to get shitfaced) while he didn't have a drink... He was asking Kelley about me, and I had only met the girl, like, 3 times before that!!! On the other hand, I got to see my aunt drunk, that was pretty funny. And the next day all my family/cousins decided to let me know it was time to dump Casey... which it was.
6) Where will you be when 2005 ends? I'll actually be at a wedding reception with Ben... it's our 3rd wedding together! haha..
7) Who will you be with when 2005 ends? Ben and a bunch of people from his work.
8) Did you keep your new years resolution? No... no, I definitely did not.
9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2006? Not yet. Keeping with the procrasination-theme I live by, I'll probably think of one around 20 of midnight that night.
10) Did you fall in love in 2005? Fuck yes.
11) If yes, with who? Benjamin.
12) If yes, do they know? Oh yes, he knows.
13) Are you still in love with them? Actually, I am.
14) You regret it? No, I definitely don't.
15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2005? Yep!
16) Did you make any new friends in 2005? Yep!
17) Who are your favorite new friends? Kate, Jenn, Nick, Marc, and all the little buddies I made over summer! =)
18) What was your favorite month of 2005? Grrrr, hard one. I liked a lot of months for different reasons... March for the fun of the boy, May was good, summer was awesome with my family, but it was without Ben... then October was definitely needed. Halleluia I'm 21!
19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2005? Yep - San Felipe, Mexico baby!
20) How many different states did you travel to in 2005? Guh... California, Pennsylvania, Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts... and all more than once... so 6?
21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2005? Friends moved away, and I lost a couple good friends, but they're not deceased - they're just busy.
22) Did you miss anybody in the past year? Yes. Lots of people at different times.
23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2005? Ooooh, I loved Batman Begins (I laughed throughout the end), and Rent, and Harry Potter 4... and most likely some others that I'm forgetting.
24) What was your favorite song from 2005? Gah...Fuck if I know - lots. Sunshowers-MIA//PleasePleasePlease-HeadAutomatica//Divided-Tegan and Sara//annnnd a lot of songs by Mae.
25) What was your favorite record from 2005? probably Mae's second album... it got the most play.
26) How many concerts did you see in 2005? um, like 5? Spring Concert, Tegan and Sara, Mae, Howie Day, Matt Nathanson/Ben Kweller... plus probably 2 more that I can't think of...
27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2005? MAE!!! By far!!! Tegan and Sara rocked too though.
28) did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005? yes, but surprisingly, not as much as years in the past, even though I'm legal now.
29) did you do a lot of drugs in 2005? nope.
30) How many people did you sleep with in 2005? um... 2ish? hahaha. It's been 1 since Feb/March, and I can't remember if there was 1 or 2 before him. Lol... probably 2.
31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? NO! I DIDN'T!
33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2005? "I'm fine" ...muttered by my sister on more than one occasion.
34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2005? hahaha... probably... apparantly I told someone I didn't want any kind of relationship - only hook ups, when he wanted something more... I guess that was pretty awkward, hahahaha. That was waaaaay in the beginning of the year tho.
35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2005? yes, but only minorly.
36) How much money did you spend in 2005? Oh god, lots... haha lots of Ben's too! =)
37) What was your proudest moment of 2005? Wow... if you mean proud of others, then there were lots - I get really proud of my kiddies, esp G-Funk and teaching him to say "Auntie"... if you mean proud of myself... then probably when Tami told me she never thought she was replaceable, but I had done a pretty good job... that was pretty good to hear. And all the praise I got from the kids/parents I sat for (Tori told me once her kids were screaming at her that they didn't want any other sitter than me! lol...)
38) The most embarrassing moment in 2005? I don't have time to think about this one...
39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2005 and change something, what would it be? Hrmmm... I dunno. Probably something having to do with being away from Ben or my babies for so long.
40) What are your plans for 2006? Get my life in order and figure out where I'll be living for the next few years... yuck.
