THIS ROOM IS PATHETIC, AND I AM PATHETIC TOOOOOO... :)

Wow!

Thats what i can say about today's practice, which is long over due. It was freaking amazing. So Rance gets here, lets me listen to the hakeldema demo (you guys should pick it up) which is very good, and we drive to his house. There I meet up with Justin and Chris. At first, I was nervous about what i should do because I hadn't been in a band without knowing the people really well before. As soon as they played the first breakdown though, i was on that like white on rice! I used this song i wrote earlier this year, and it fit so well. It was called "A kiss like cyanide", although i don't know if the name will remain. The breakdowns in the song will make you want to freaking kill someone, i promise you. Ask B.J., for those who don't know. He threw down like he was at a show. The second song currently has no title, but its about fighting for what you believe in and its got some good breakdown sing-a-longs for those who are looking for that kind of stuff. The Third song i dubbed, "Your only seventeen once" (a sparatic punk song that also has some breakdowns)is about a girl who makes horrible decisions in her life that leads her to be dead on a hospital bed at seventeen.

We played all these songs and then Rance went to work. Justin, Chris, and I went to the store and got a watermelon slushi (it was so good!!!!) and we left to the mall. There I saw Bobby talking to Rance..honestly, i wanted to punch him. But i held it in real well and just flashed a smile and walked away. Rance was still up for practice after work, so we all went back to the house and ate lunch. Thats when we decided on the temporary name for the band, "A Grey Funeral".

The reason for this name makes sense, mind you. Its about the grey line between Black and White; The mourning of someone's death and the celebration of their life. This can be looked at as a christianity thing if toyed with enough, but it goes for a widge range of things like relationships, Friendships, and decisions to change. Time will tell if the message will be looked as important enough to take time to listen.

We practiced some more afterwards, and thats when B.J., steven, and Miranda came to get B.J.'s stuff. With Miranda, I feel so good, but im also sad because i know that we can't do this without getting hurt. I want to hold on to it as much as i can, but I think that sooner or later, she'll just move on. This band is really helping me expose the feelings i have inside. Justin's girlfriend Allison also came over when we played for B.J and friends. She brought her violin and played this part in one of our songs. We might not play it at shows like that, but it will definately be on the demo.

After all this coolness, Eric came over and we went to the Waterfront. There, i met some really cool people and we played frisbee and stuff. About 12:00 or so, we left to go to this girl named Christina's house and just sat out back for two hours talking and being dumb. Rance and I laughed about everything. It was sooo hilarious. The inside joke that lasted too long. Eric, we love you. You're mackin' those girls homeboy. ;)

Me with water bottle in hand: "God turned water into wine, did you know that?" I look towards Rance and say,
"Thank you for this whole bottle of water!"
Damn, we had the giggles like no other.

Its 3:50 and im home. Nobody is in the house and im alone.
You should be here with me, but your still awake..inside, you're still sleeping...
