so...
i just graduated from college
i'm not officially graduated yet but,
i just finished my final final final, and i'm done!
the whole surrealism hasnt really kicked in or anything
but its actually kinda bittersweet...

YAY!
I just graduated, no more papers or homework!

and then...
crap, no more college friends, activities, late night parties,
flight team, jazz band, game nights, snow days
and lots of LOANS, bills, trying to find a job,
living off of 15k/year (which is more than enough
i know, but its not enough to pay off loans),
and oh, did i mention loans?

the past few days, i have been contemplating
exactly what i have learned and accomplished at UD
and i came up with this...

Accomplishments
Instrument Rating
Commercial Certificate
Multi-engine Rating
Flight Instructor Certificate
Instrument Flight Instructor Rating
Cottingham & Butler Internship
Wendt Character Scholarship
Resident Assistant
Flight Team Treasurer
Residence Hall Association President
blah blah blah, and so on and so forth...

but here is what really matters...
this is what i have actually LEARNED!

Time management is key

Relationships can be, and most of the time are, more important than work
Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way

Pride can help you, but pride alone will get you nowhere

Worrying is like a rocking chair
It gives you something to do, but nowhere to go

Being in debt happens to all of us, get used to it,
you'll be there for a very long time

Journaling is fun, especially when you read back
and see how incredibly stupid you were(and sometimes still are)

Do you know what they call someone that graduates with a C average?
A GRADUATE! Dont stress over straight A's so much, like I did,
to the point where you lose important relationships

And possibly most important of all...
College has reinforced my life motto...

"God is Love, and Love is Real, but Love is Everything"
