new new new.
I'm actually prety phyched! I got payed Thursday... around $200. meh. not bad. So... knowing me, I went out and bought myslef a new phone. I was in dire need of a phone, and my plan needed to be "re-done" or I needed to "refresh" my contract or something, so they were giving me discounts on phones. Sooooo! I bought I new, PINK, motorola SLVR L7. woot woot!!! It has to be the coolest phone ever! It has iTunes and stuff, so I've been uploading music like crazy!! I just finished with most of my cd's, and I want to download limewire (shhh.), but who knows... I'm going to have to put some music on the phone now... my library is around 300 now, so I do have some selection.
My gradmother... my dad's mom, sent me $50 for being appointed onto the school board, and she sent it allong with a letter too. She always makes me feel good. She is the only one that constantly says she is proud of me, and that I'm increadable. It brings me up on not so good days. She's really sweet, and has been sending me books that she's read and thinks I would like. I still haven't gotten to read them yet, but I am reading... there is just so much going on.
The school board is going well. I think that I am going to bring up two issues at the next meeting; the cell phones, and the backpacks. I'm going to shoot for just being able to use our cell phones during lunch for now. I think that is reasonable, and eliminates almost all issues with control over use and time. The backpacks... I don't really know what's going on, so I'm just going to ask that it is brought to the table at the next meeting. I want rules in black and white about both of them to be added to our agenda books. There isn't enough constant structure in our school, it's teacher against teacher against students. It's unreasonable and unfair.
I also got a new softball glove. Oh my I am in L-O-V-E! It's a Wilson A2000 first baseman's glove. It is incredable. It makes my job so much easier. I love it, period. It was usually $200, I got it for $118 I think.... and we had a coupon, and a return, so I payed $50. My sister also got a glove, and payed $25 of it. Together the bill was only $125. Em and I covered $75 of it, and my dad covered $50 of it. He was happy because he spent $50 on two gloves, and I was extremely happy because I have a firstbaseman's glove, finally. I really want to make varsity next year. I want 1st base damn it! I'm sick of outfield. I am better at first than I am at outfield, even though I have a fairly decent throw home at times... I don't know. It feels like home when I'm playing 1st. I simply love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
