Writer's Block: I Don't Normally Do This Kind of Thing
Oh my God, its hilarious that this is the writers block as I'm going through the biggest WTF is wrong with me stage at the moment. So I've scorned American Idol since season 4. After Carrie Underwood won, I kind of just grew out of it. So I kind of forgot it existed until the commercials for season 8 started. I told everyone who would listen that Idol was ridiculous and that there's was never really that much talent in the final 10 and that I would NEVER in my life watch it. Lo and Behold; my friend Rachel decided she needed to show me some youtube vids of this one finalist- Adam Lambert. I was ruined... I started in on my huge helping of my own words, this man sounded like no one I've ever heard and now I'm a huge fan. I went from scorning the crap out of AI to arranging to watch it every Tuesday and Wednesday with my best friend and becoming a huge fan of 4 out of the top ten finalists and organizing an AI Finale party. I have tickets to the Live Tour and I bought two issues of Adam's Rolling Stone Cover. As embarassed as I am for loving this cheesy show I honestly don't deny my love for it anymore. Adam Lambert's got talent .. and he's different, I can't imagine not listening to his voice on a regular basis. So thanks AI, for making me first a total hypocrite and second a total dork. See you next season :D
