(no subject)
So, apparently I have some time on my hands, due to UAB waiting til 7:15am to delay classes til noon. Stupid bitches.
This morning I woke at 5am, realized my damn cable was out, so I had to go to the FOX 6 snow channel. Everything is closed/delayed except UAB. My mom asked "are you going" and I thought screw it, I will stay home. I get on the internet to check Uab.edu and there it is, delayed. Good thing I didn't leave at 6:45, like I normally do, and get all the way downtown.
Their excuse::We apologize for the late notice, but a report of power outages on campus was delayed. We regret any inconvenience.
yeh sure. So, I am sitting here 3 poodles asleep around me and a cat watching every move I make. lol. What more could I want?
Yesterday, was a weird day. Willie and I stayed at home and watched the Hurricane on the news (my obsession...the news and he hates it lol.) to his enjoyment he liked, and laughed very loudly when the weather reporters were standing outside and would fall over or scream due to wind. I then headed to work. Lacey called and her mother, through her, was yelling "don't go to work! come here! if you die your mother is it blame for letting you go to work" i love patty. lol. she cracks me up. She said "your mother isn't around im your mother! come over here!" lol. Anyways, I stopped at Starbucks, and I said " I bet y'all wanna go home" and she said "oh we are closing at 5pm" I was on my way to work. I work a good 30 minutes from my house. The whole time driving 459 my car was swaying and what not. I got to work, we were slammed with TO GO orders. Some people stayed to eat and I said "yall don't wanna get home" and they were like "what storm? its just a light wind".
Walter (my dad) and Sal started to leave me and Alex. I was scarred about driving home by myself at 9:30. So slowly, Sal came to the conclusion that we should close. Thank God. I was home by 8:15 and asleep by 10:00. It was so good.
Oh by the way. Lacey's Chuck E. Cheese surprise party went well. sorry you missed it Lindsey. I will post pics as soon as I get some. They were great. She danced with Chuck E. and everything. haha. good times. she was really surprised and cried.
well, i think i am going to go and take a long shower and then go to willie about 9:00 and go to bed over there. lol. Its a lot quieter (sp?) over there.
oh to Adam, I am getting some time off the weekend. I get my old schedule back every friday and saturday i am off. thanks goodness. I might have a life again!
