The friday before last was pretty interesting. It started out with Matt and I going to Jillians to meet up with Alene, Keelin, Laurel, Leanne and Alicia. That went well...We didn't stay long, and left soon after having a couple of drinks and watching them play some pool. We walked to Uburger and were promptly picked up by Tommy Luzaitis, Kevin and Rich Burton to go to a show in Allston.
We hadn't even gotten into the show yet when we ran into Danielle and Melissa Magee from BLA. They didn't recognize me, and we realized after the fact that he hadn't said I was his girlfriend or fiancee or anything so they probably just think I'm some creepy stalker type still. Oh well...It was almost like a BLA reunion that night which was kinda crazy....Anyway, it was a really good show, and we all had a good time. Timmy was completely wasted before we even got there, so that was kind of interesting. Richie brought this girl that he likes and I'm a big fan of her myself. I told her that we used to fight dinosaurs together. I was a Littttle drunk. You know I shouldn't meet his girlfriends when I've been drinking or am going to drink. It just leads to me being crazy. At least I didn't start talking about being pro-life to this one! She seems really nice though and I really hope they end up getting together because I think she's the kinda girl he would do well with.
So after that we headed back to the growler house....Kevin instigated a bag of leaf fight and it was the funniest thing i've seen in quite a while. I love those guys. How could anyone not honestly?
We got to the house...hung out for a bit. I almost fake fought Will Good and talked to Rosie, the girl richie was with some more. And then matt and I got some vibes we really weren't digging so we took off on our way home. And by that I mean we decided to walk home from Allston. He was fairly sober to my fairly inebriated state, so it wasn't as bad of an idea as it could be. And it turned out to be fine. Nobody bothered us the entire time we were walking and we were never totally lost, though there were moments we were kinda worried about where we were at and all that. And it was an amazing workout honestly. Anyway, we got into copley around 2:30 and decided to take a cab from there (we would've taken one earlier in the night but we couldn't flag one down to save our life). Anyway, we got in and took showers and all that and went to bed. I was hoping to stay in bed til like noon but he woke me up around 11. We hung out at his house most of the day with his little sister Elaina and we watched Amanda's first college basketball game that night. It was nice. Richie came by after I took a nap on the couch for a bit and we all just chilled. I think we ended up at Richie's house after that and we had some drinks and they tried to get the nintendo to work....
Sunday was a weird day at work...but whatever. Every day at that place is like they've just opened their doors for the first time..This Sunday was long and boring and angry and what not.
Tuesday night hockey was pretty good this week. Matt's game was a real nail biter and for a second it almost seemed like they weren't going to be able to pull away from the other team (they were tied most of the night) but then they did and it was fantastic. The third period is their power period for them. The second game was a bit more of a slaughter and it just didn't hold my attention the same way, until Richie and Tommy started "fighting". It was pretty hillarious and i was kicking myself for missing it.
Richie was kicked off his team soon after... but was let back on the team this friday at a party at the six house (our friends house...not the lame bar) from what I heard. We missed the party because matt was sick. Sounds like there was some drama though so it was probably for the best in the end.
And here we are today. I'm waiting to hear from Matt to see if we're going to be hanging out with Chris and Tenisha tonight. I kinda want to just hang out inside or go to a local bar, but I think both of those are out if we end up hanging out with them. Lame. Instead, I think I'm just going to start my christmas cards...my list is pretty slim this year, aside from the ones I'm setting aside for family. Amanda McCarthy and Mike Connolly are my only definites at the moment.
If you read this and would like a cutesy card, just leave me your address :)
