i officially have the worst flu ever...
so my internet has been fixed for a couple weeks now... but why havent i been posting you may ask..
well, aside from the fact that im on myspace way too much to have time for LJ anymore, i have been sick. ill. debilitated. defective. diseased.
it's been some kind of maddening evil flu that started out looking like your average run of the mill food poisoning and then turned to something more vicious and painful. i think in the last 5 days all ive injested is water with airborne in it... apple sauce.. saltines... a couple reeses pieces at work... ginger ale... iced and hot tea... and a little piece of lasagna to test the waters... needless to say, im back on the crackers...
i want to die. one minute im shivering, the next im burning up. one minute im coughing, the next im puking. one day i think im better, the next i want to curl up and perish. and the worst part is the skepticism of people. like they can't possibly believe i am honestly sick. that makes me want to pull my hair out. i think my family, alison, and amaris (oh and the other person at work going through the same thing) are about the only people who are taking me seriously. that hurts.
anyhow it looks like for the second time in 5 days im going to have to cancel my salsa plans... and my plans to see an albatross in richmond. unless there's a miracle in the next 12-15 hours. i even cancelled a hair appointment. now that is when you KNOW im horribly sick. ive sat in that barber's chair through alot of fucking things, but i can't risk puking at the salon. too embarassing...
is it possible that the little baby jesus hates salsa music? or lazer vikings? it must be one or the other...
