Now that Jer posted, I can finally...
The lab (she's a lab/bulldog mix) is about 16 months and the beagle is about 11 months. Both have been wonderful so far. We met and brought them home from K9 Stray Rescue League on Tuesday. Their previous owner gave them to the shelter because she had allergies.
They are on the submissive side, so that really helps. They are giving Stubby plenty of room when they walk by. They are also doing really good with the cats, especially considering they have never been around them. Beagle is named Daisy, Lab is named Meetoo (ya, I know, weird). They are best buddies, that is why we got two dogs. Jeremy fell in love with their pictures on petfinder....so he isn't allowed to complain about two dogs, as he is the one that picked them ;-)
