I brought up the Armenian Genocide to prove that gays have not been the only ones persecuted: your ancestors have been, as well. I believe denying homosexuals their human rights as Americans is a form of persecution. Although this might not be at the same level of torture as what the Armenians experienced in the genocide, there are hate crimes committed against people who are "different"(not necessarily gay) every day. I would love for you to come see "The Laramie Project" to get a better idea (no sarcasm). I am not attacking you, and I speak for myself when I say I cannot hold anything against you. I'm not doing this because I know you and my best friend have an on-going dislike for each other. I'm just asking you to consider and/or understand tolerance for a group labeled "different". I hope you can understand where I'm coming from, even if you disagree.

America is not a fucking theocracy...our country is built from religious toleration. if u guys don't like gay marriage then take jesus into ur church and have him tell everyone that its between a man and a woman and outlaw it in ur own religion. it shouldn't be a constitutional amendment for the United States.
