Submission information

Dec 30, 2015 15:13

As we approach the check-in date (January 4th), and a few people have finished their fics, there are a few things you should know about both the check-in and the submission.

Your CHECK-IN is supposed to be simply an e-mail informing us that you are still participating in the event and (only if you think it's relevant to mention) your current word count. It's ok if you haven't started your fic just yet, just inform us if you're still committed to the cause (LOL). The e-mail subject should be: [CHECK-IN] your username (e.g.: [CHECK-IN] bubblegumprincess).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submission deadline is February 8th, but if you're done with your piece, don't hesitate! Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Format your fic. Any italics, bold or other text modifications won't be handled by us. We will use the HTML EDITOR for posting, which means if you don't format your story with the required HTML tags, text mods won't show.

Step 2: Fill in the header with all the information and paste it on your fic file, before the text.

Title:
Rating:
Length:

Notes:

Here's an example of how your header should look in your fic file:

Step 3: Save your formatted fic in a .doc, or .rtf, or .txt file.

Name it [YOUR USERNAME] prompt # (e.g.: [BUBBLEGUMPRINCESS] prompt #345. If your prompt is original, just write "original prompt" instead of the number).

Step 4: This file should be attached to the submission e-mail you will send to kissfanxing@gmail.com.

The subject of the e-mail is: [SUBMISSION] your username (e.g.: [SUBMISSION] bubblegumprincess).

Here's how your e-mail should look:

This is pretty much everything you need to have in mind for the submission. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail us.
