Pictures from our family holiday to Thailand with my +1. It was a really impromptu trip, tickets were booked only a week before because Dad was out of town and our initial holiday destination of choice, Hong Kong, had a miniature bird flu outbreak alert, (which died down 2 days before we were scheduled to leave). Best getaway I've had in awhile, and I think darl and I really needed that sense of escapism. Things have been rough, I won't deny, but life seems to be getting back on track for us. :-)
We pretty much ate like kings, shopped like queens, and had the time of our lives. Bangkok will forever and always be my favourite shopping getaway, and Cha-Am (some little town near Hua Hin) wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Banana boating is definitely not something I'm going to do again, though.
