So summer is sadly coming to a close. I'm really glad with how these past few months have turned out. I realized that taking a summer class isn't the end of the world, I went on an amazing vacation that I will never forget, and I became closer to a few people and I'm very happy with that.
Lately I've been just enjoying my final weeks of doing whatever I want and working. Work (or lack there of because lately there isn't much for me to do there) has been pissing me off...well actually only one person there is. But I don't feel like getting into that here. I went down to Katie's beach house the other weekend and had a fun time with everyone. Last thursday I went to MSG with Elyse and Danny to see Justin Timberlake...which was an absolutely amazing performance. That boy has so much talent. Timbaland was there, and Nelly Furtado was supposed to make a suprise appearance but she apparently missed her flight. Last friday my car died in the CVS parking lot and cost nearly 500 bucks to fix it...which is retarded...but whatever. After that mishap, I visited my Baba and then spent the night at Courtney's, who I haven't seen in such a long time.
I hope the weather gets better for Labor Day. I'm going to be soooo pissed if the SP tradition of parades/bbqs/fireworks is ruined by rain. I'm also having a bbq at my house, and if the weather doesn't hold up, who knows what will happen.
In other news, I was invited to go camping at the end of September. I know, I know...me? Camping? I've said in the past that it was something I'd NEVER see myself do. First off, it's scary. The idea of drinking and being isolated in the woods with friends would obviously bring about some awesome times...but the the aspect of it freaks me out. Secondly...there is the bathroom/shower situation. And then there is the most important thing of all...dirty feet. I won't be able to live if my feet are dirty. However, since the trip is going to be really cheap I might reconsider all these cons, suck it up and just do it. Who knows, maybe I'll enjoy it.
That's about it for now.
