A NOTE: at this point my beta responded by demanding to know if this was IT, this was all we are going to get from Hermione - not the case! This isn’t over yet!

Omg, I feel so bad for Ron :C
I do really hope Hermione is just playing dumb or something, that's ridiculous!

Pooooor Ron! Even though I know there's more to come I'm like no Hermione that can't be it. I've never heard that children's rhyme before--maybe it's just a British thing and not an American one? We sang different songs when we jumped rope or did double dutch, but I do remember a game where you twisted the stem of an apple once for every letter in the alphabet, and the letter it came off on was the first letter of your future husband's name.

Maybe it is immature of Harry to react that way, but I can also understand his point of view. Harry was one of her closest friends for years, so having Ron keep that information to himself (even for a very good reason) must have hurt his feelings. It's the sign of a good story that I can sympathize with both sides of that conflict.

I'm really excited for more scenes between Ron and Daphne. Eee : ) Loving the story so far.

Sounds pretty similar! Yes I would say that these things tend to be localised, but it's definitely a rhyme I sang when I was little (I didn't make it up for the story).

You're a kind woman Luna...I think Harry's being a bit of a douche!

Thank you so much for the kind words :)

Poor Ron! *hugs him* I understand Hermione's being scared and needing to get away from everything, but I am waiting for a better explanation of why she hid from Ron, who would have supported her and their daughter.

Of course, I feel for Harry, too, but I don't think he should be so mad at Ron. Good grief, give the poor bloke a few days to get used to the fact that he had a daughter he doens't know about.

I really loved the reactions of Ron's family--planning and plotting on his behalf when they thought he was crazy to keep looking for Hermione all these years.

I still love Daphne and probably feel sorrier for her than anyone else. Ron would be a great dad if given the chance . . .

And poor Craig! The kid's going to need a stiff drink after the day he's had. ;)

Obviously I am engaged in the story and anxiously awaiting more. :)
