Northern Lights

I got back from my trip on Monday. I've been too lazy to post about it though. I'll try to make my adventure as short as possible...

I thought driving up to Canada would be the worst part, but i literally sat there the whole time, and somehow passed the time by. The scenery was great. We rode through mountains and such. We spent the first night in Canada at my Grandma's house (on Mom's side). It was the usual. The second day we went to our destination. We picked up my uncle and took the ferry to Manitoulin Island. It was beautiful. We stayed at my other uncle's house that used to my grandpa's. My grandpa was like insane. He owned a million cats, and when they died, he shoved them in an old fridge or washing machine that he threw outside. So everytime I walked passed a fridge I got the willies. We stayed in the two trailers we bought, and it was reeeeaaallly cold. The days were hot though.

We did many things such as, boating, trail hiking, antiquing, beaching, EATING, horseback riding, and much much more. Oh oh..we kinda hit a deer. It didn't have any injuries at all. In a twisted way, it was kinda funny. There were deer everywhere, trying to commit suicide. I suspect it's because hunting season is coming up. The horseback riding was my favorite. It was a three hour ride that went alll the way up in the mountains. Just as we were getting back to the barn, my horse freaked out, and I fell. Just my luck. It wasn't THAT big of a deal.

All and all, it was a perfect time. I was one with nature, and am happy to do it again. The grandma with leukimia was doing great. She looked just as I remembered. Even though she's talking about dying sometime soon, I still have hope that she'll still be around for a good while.
