Well, he wasn't using it anymore...
Chicken loves his new 5 gallon tank; it's warm and toasty, with tons of room to swim around, he has new toys that didn't fit in the 1-gallon bowl, and he even has a tank buddy, a little African Dwarf Frog.
My boyfriend and I had a nice plan for Sunday; we went to see Narnia (great special effects, less-than-great pacing), then we would go to my apartment and have a 'picnic' with deviled eggs, English muffin pizzas, and fresh squeezed lemonade. We bought two big bags of lemons at Costco. There was only one problem... I don't own a pitcher or anything in which to make lemonade. I did, however, have one recently vacated fishbowl...
The bf picked it up and asked, "Is this clean?" Yes, I just washed it with the last batch of dishes. So we made our lemonade in the fishbowl! It even still had the thermometer stuck to the side of the bowl, for extra amusing visual effect. I may have to dig out the cheap plastic plants with suction cup bottoms for the next batch. ;)
