Central Jersey was full of thunder and lightning yesterday. That's one of the photos I took from our porch. I've never seen clouds move the way they did yesterday. Apparently a funnel cloud was seen a few miles away from us in North Brunswick. It was an exciting way for the heat to break.
We all went to Diana's last night in Metuchen, for a dinner party of sorts. We had wine and cheese, soup, salad, salmon and asparagus, and berry shortcake desserts. There are few things in life I enjoy more than good food (travel, kittens) so I was pretty content.
Today marked the half way point in my summer course. Earlier this week I realize one of my new friends in that class lives a few houses down from us. Small world.
I need to start making more money. I'm waiting to get paid $50 and $60 for two commissions I finished, and then I will supposedly be starting some more. Work has been slow for Sunny - I rarely have anything to do. Got to keep saving.
