Disappointing Realizations

Most of the time, the exorbitant amount of money you spend on college courses is purely to gain credits and eventually a degree. Many college professors are basically regurgitating nonsense that you will never need nor remember. You are not pursuing higher education, you are emptying your (or your parents') pockets in order to graduate and enter a career that you are ill-prepared for. A promising future for those who can afford the bigger bucks.

I've had some pretty lousy professors before, but this Hyginus Emenike guy at MCC is among the worst. He is rude and unprofessional. I can't tell if he's just old or just really foreign. I think both. He doesn't know how to teach. I'm just glad I took Precalc four years ago in high school - so this class is basically a review. It's got to suck, though, for those people who never took precalc. Or for those who honestly wanted to learn something.

On another note, I'm sick of people resurfacing for no good reason. Reaching out a hand every now and then, for no stupid reason other than to reassure their overall importance. When in fact, they're nothing.

How's that for obscure.

In happier news, seeing The Dark Knight  at 12:10 AM Friday (Thursday night?). Too souped.

Edit: You will get cancer. It seems pretty unavoidable.
