i'm fairly bored of late, and by fairly i mean very. but i'm applying to jobs, and hopefully i'll get one soon, and 'have you got a job yet?' wont be the first thing people say to me anymore!
i went to thorpe park on monday, with kelly and her family, it was really quite fun. i didnt have to pay to get in because of my annual pass thing, which was such a bonus! it rained, which sucked, but the day was cool in the end after a slightly dodgy start. they have the coolest new ride, stealth, goes from 0-80mph in 2.3 seconds, not that i memorised the statistic or anything. mate, its good fun.
so monday was fun, and the weekend was awesome too. friday night, seeing liz again! and getting my hair cut, but i'm sure its grown noticably already, which is crazy. but it was so fun to stay in canterbury in karens room, and see her uni friends again. then drinking pimms on saturday, and watching bands. i'm so annoyed that i had to leave, and all for nothing in the end, because kel cancelled on me after i turned down mexican food for her! mexican!! that was the only bad thing about it all though i think, the rest rocked.
i'm soooooooo fed up of the weather lately. its june next week, and its absolutley bloody freezing everywhere, and whats with the wind! i hate wind more than any other type of weather type. grrrr. i'm hoping so much that it will brighten up soon.
but what is cool is that summer is nearly here, which means everyone will be home, and we can all go out drinking, and having barbies a-plenty, and go to the beach and all sorts. then after that i'm going to uni! i'm so excited about that, i really really really am. i'm so sick of being home, i want to be independant again!
i've been home for 3 months now, and it feels like every second. aus seems so long ago, it was like another life. i was thinking about it the other day, just of all the little things, like the guys who did the bungee jumping. i got to the top of the tower, and the guy strapping me in had a mohawk, and i was really scared of him at first, almost more than the thought of flinging myself off a 45m high structure. but he turned out to be really funny, and just made the whole thing much easier and enjoyable.
then there was our last night in irish murphys in tassie, and we saw rob and curly again, and we were going to swap email addresses, but i went to the toilet, and when i came back i found that they had all left to go and help one of their friends. we never did swap addys, and i'm still upset about that. but we danced to ethel the frog, and the lead singer kept looking over at me. i never did find out curlys real name.
then there was my birthday in strahan, with the surprise cake, and tue gave me a little pink bracelet thing that i havent taken off since. there were so many good days working in tassie with jim and lance, i miss them! and sydney, and byron bay, and the whitsundays(best days of my life), my god theres so much to miss.
this is a stupidly long entry, but hey, i'm bored.
