because I keep looking, and I'm always there. "

I dreamed... he, mine, was sleeping with her, so I found another...a large, stupid foreigner who seemed willing to go along with everything. But impatient. There was hesitation. He pointed out the hour, in a badly translated sentence. I agreed. And then we, the women, were racing cars along a cliff ledge, around and around, and then I took a different route, giving up; and then I was back at the campground with my family. We had to leave, immediately, they demanded. I went back to look for him. Because, though upset, I was in love. They were angry, but I didn't believe the myths. The hour passed, and we were thrown back through time, somewhere around the civil war era. The men who knew who we were, the doctors and the scientists, pushed us to the side of the parade of people entering the cave mansion, and forced us into costumes and fake names. We were witnessing a very private (or perhaps just exclusive) party/meeting/thing. We passed down a hallway, single file by the doctor. My family was scared. If you were "sick", who knew what would happen. Cailin and Kelly were ahead of me, neither were stopped. I was relieved. The doctor placed his hand on the top of my head and told me to relax. I was diagnosed with illness AND insanity. I was told to wait in the other room. I told my mother that at least they were all safe. The doctors gathered around and decided the first step would be bloodletting. One drew a knife to sharpen, one collected a bowl, the third pushed up the sleeve of my dress. Either I woke up or suppressed the dream after that.
Despite the rather creepy events, it was a very beautiful dream.
