WC 2005
this weekend was pretty good... sorry this entry might be long....
FRIDAY: went to school met up with Rachel and we drove to the church... we loaded up the cars and left around 415.. it was Amy,me, Portia, Whitley, Michele and Rachel, they assigned the cars to us... we stopped at this mcdonalds around 530 and they gave us this hilarious cd. theres this guy that sounds like one of those flight attendants that are telling you how to buckle your seatbelt becuause apparently thats such a hard thing to do... we get up to the camp around 6 and there is snow everywhere =D we unloaded the trailer.. we had a service that night and we did this clue thing, then we went to bed...
SATURDAY: we woke up ate breakfast had the morning service then we had "personal devotion" time where we would write and then we layed around since we had an hour to do that.. we went to lunch then came back to the cabin and puut on all of our snow clothes... then we drove, got lost at first.. haha thanks portia... we finally found the spot where we played in the snow two years ago, theres this big hill then it goes down to a lake which was frozen over... i think it was chris nicole me becca portia erica and a couple others and we had to make a trail and the snow was knee deep... it was such a workout trying to get to the hill, it was past the lake... we played in the snow for a few hours... around 4 we started going back to camp.. i was in kims car and we decided to go a little bit early so we could take showers ((and the stupid showers are down a ways from the cabin >.<)) we kept taking some wrong turns and i was right everytime but no, NO ONE EVER LISTENS! haha then we finally found the 260 ((highway)) and we drove back to the camp.. and i dont know what happened but when ryan was parking by the budget truck portia was like go down this hill and i said no go right towards the cabins.. but again NO ONE EVER LISTENS TO ME!!! so we get down this hill and no its not where we were suppost to go and so we turn around and to go up this one part of the hill we came down was a very big inclination, we were in a van. and so portia tried to scope out this road.. and yea so that didnt work so we just tried the hill then we got stuck so we all, all girls by the way, had to get out and push the van out... you see this is what happens when you dont listen to me and you listen to portia, hahahaha im not saying portias a bad directionist but now its hilarious... we go back, we take showeres ate dinner kim did my hair, we had a service then we had a bunch of games , "Late Night"... andwe had to go out into the forest with glosticks for one of them.. retarded... and there was the chain of pain, and for some weird reason mike m. took off his shirt... crazy kid... then we went back to the cabin i brushed my teeth and i went and laid in my bunk and listened to music since i didnt have to pack anything and i guess i passed out really fast...
SUNDAY: woke up packed everything up, had breakfast and the morning service and we packed everything up which took quite awhile and we had to clean the floors and such... we left around 12.. we stopped at pizza hut and ate lunch then we drove i fell asleep watching forrest gump.. i was kinda mad because now i can only say that ive seen 1/3 of it... we got back around 245.. when anne came back she had make up on.. omg shes so pretty with make up!!!! =D i wish i had my camera i got home around 330... andrew was here.. we talked for a little bit.. and now he just left...
also IF ANYONE WHO WENT THIS WEEKEND HAS MY CAMERA LET ME KNOW PLEASE, its a kodak and stupidly i didnt label it...
my grandpa's coming in town tonight and i didnt know that until i got home, lets just say im really not looking forward to hanging around him again, like any grandpa he really gets on your nerves after awhile.. and my grandmas coming on wednesday, and the best part is that i dont even know how long theyre staying...
