Pleading and Begging
Some of you may be familiar with yaoi gallery, the 18+ gay art and literature site where I host the majority of my slash fanfiction. I only joined last June, and I've met some of the most amazing artists and writers and fandom friends in my time there. Five hours ago, the yaoi galler mods posted a hissy fit urgent plea for a system administrator, saying that they've been working without one for the past several months and if they don't find one now, the website is going down on February 14th. I've had my gripes with the website in the past, but the community there is unlike any other fanworks site I've been a part of, and a lot of people are going to be devastated if the mods go through with this.
If you are interested, or know anybody who might be interested, please pass the link along. I'm still unsure how big of a turnout they're going to get, as they've had the announcement up for all of five hours, but it can't hurt to try. You have my ardent thanks.
