Attention, people who read my fics
Now that I'm done with that huge fic dump (and on the verge of finally making a master post), I'm faced with the prospect of mucking around with my tags. My system is fairly simplistic--every fic header states the rating and pairings/characters, and the tags state the fandom, genre (smut, humor/fluff, or angst), and sometimes form (meandering introspection, drabble dump).
My question for you is: what tags do you find helpful when browsing an author's fics? Do you want more detailed genre description? Alternate universe vs. canon-verse? Word count? Content rating? Popular plot conventions? Personally, I browse an author's backlist by fandom tags (ship tags, if I'm feeling particularly picky), but I might be completely atypical.
