(no subject)
Weeee, I had a fantabulous day today.
I woke up at like, noon, and had freaking SUBWAY waiting for me when I woke up. (It was noon, everyone else was eating lunch so...they just got me lunch too.) And I was like, WOO!
So then I sat on my backyard steps for about an hour or so, reading the book I borrowed from Krystal. It was so warm out today, I couldn't just stay inside.
Then I went shopping with my mom, and spent like...200 dollars. But half of that 200 dollars was in gift cards, coupons, etc. So it wasn't THAT much. I pretty much got a new summer wardrobe though, so it's all good.
Then after we went shopping for clothes, me and my mom went to Best Buy. I FINALLY got to buy the Gorillaz DVD I've been wanting since the dawn of time. The DVD is of their live concert in Manchester, with all of the artists and contributors from Demon Days. They pretty much crammed an entire orchestra of people onstage. It was really amazing, to put it simply. There was just so much work that went into that music, and it's quite nice to see an artist (s) that really cares about the music they put out. And then, I got that new The Raconteurs CD, with Jack White from the White Stripes. I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but they're way better than the White Stripes. The Raconteurs have this fun, old-rock type sound and I'm really loving it.
So I've discovered that my family has the....strangest...conversations. Like, today at dinner-
"Mom, why are you drinking diet coke that's been sitting outside? You're going to get cancer."
"Because I'm FAT"
"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO CARE IF YOU'RE FAT WHEN YOU HAVE CANCER"
And that's when I exited the room very quickly. Lmao.
