I was in Norway and now I am not, which is just rubbish.

I hate the post-holiday blues.  They seem to get worse every time I go away.

I'm no longer in Munich jumping about in the snow, but instead back in my little flat which seems to have grown a furry layer of dust and muck since I left, and I've only been away four days.  You can't actually see the furry layer, but I'm convinced it's there and therefore might have to get up very early tomorrow and clean it from top to bottom ( Read more... )

I picked up my Czech Koruna from Marks & Spencer's Bureau de Change this morning at the bright and early hour of 7.30am. I now have this great big wadge of notes - 4000Kč - which is making me feel very rich.  I am chosing to ignore the fact that it is worth about £100 - or about US$190 or 143 Euros for you statesider/continental types.
