WOW. They weren't kidding! Scarily, you two seem to have chosen the exact same style that me and Paul have been talking about for our wedding (one day) - he wants to wear a shirt with the lacing bit (sorry no idea what they are actually called!), and that dress is the closest to my perfect dress that I have ever seen. Good taste both of you!

They're called jacobite or jacobean shirts. I intended to wear one even before we decided I should wear a kilt. I just wish the silly thing hadn't kept unlacing itself on the day! I should have left it laced more tightly beforehand.

I was totally blown away by her. Her dress was nothing like I expected and a millions times better than I could have imagined. Lucky me gets to see her in it again on Saturday for the Scottish celebration. (-:
