The One With The Bad Sporting Week
It's not been the best week for England, sport-wise. I wonder what the odds would have been on England being beaten by Russia in the football, South Africa in the rugby, Lewis Hamilton losing the F1 Championship, and Ronnie O'Sullivan getting beaten in the Grand Prix final? Sniff.
I thought that Ronnie looked different this tournament: older, better groomed, more thoughtful, and reticent of course, all those unspoken words. He's become a very frustrating favourite. I still feel a flutter every time I watch him though, so the love affair clearly isn't over just yet.
This post is really just an excuse for gratuitous usage of my Ronnie icon.
