Thankful
Normally I'd be 5 days into November thankful.
But I'm not thankful for the things I should be.
I'm not thankful that I'm still here raising my babies when you aren't.
I'm not thankful that I have trips planned and time left ahead of me when you don't.
I'm not thankful that I can't send you a message to see if you need Crustables or make time to pick up clothes for Lucas from you.
I'm not thankful that I'll never here you sassy voice or have you laugh at my antics.
I'm not thankful that I don't understand why you and not other people who also had Covid.
I'm not thankful and I may not be for a very long time.
Facebook is an amazing place but you can't truly let out the emotions you need to.
