Thanksgiving Part I - The Genocide
I stumbled out of bed this morning to find a fine trail of ants wending its way through my bathroom to my couch. I hadn't vacuumed underneath the cushions in a bit so the ants were taking advantage of their Thanksgiving feast. I hope they got to enjoy it, because I enacted genocidal protocol shortly thereafter. =)
Thanksgiving Part II - The Rickrolling of All Time
The
Cartoon Network's float in the Macy's Day Thanksgiving parade delivered the best Rick rolling ever, with none other than Rick Astley himself! Suddenly, I was transported back to the 80's and laughing at the same time (that combination doesn't always happen). Rick is looking pretty good, all things considered. I imagine a number of people in the audience were scratching their heads wondering what was so funny, and some other folks didn't understand that it was Rick Astley they had up there, but they don't count. Happy Thanksgiving Rick!
Thanksgiving Part III - Some Good News
Apparently, the rain we had set records in some areas but didn't set off horrendous mud slides or other devastating phenomena. People will still probably complain but they don't realize that no matter how much it inconveniences us - and no matter how stupid L.A. drivers act when the sky spits at us - we should be grateful for all the rain we can get. So, in the spirit of the holiday, can you pass some more helpings of rain our way, God? Thank you!
