Thinking ahead

The holiday season is sneaking up on me on stealthy feet, but I'm aware - oh yes. Which means that I am trying to get some details ironed out about the season that is often more stressful than merry. One of the easiest things to ponder about is my birthday, since I'm usually the one who sets it up. I'm wondering where to hold it this year. I have a guest list in mind, and it will probably be at least twelve people (like last year), which means that I will have to find a place with enough seating to accomodate a larger group. Although Glendale and Burbank are filled with restaurants, not all of them are equipped to comfortably handle more than about four people.

Last year, we did Bucca di Beppo. Not only do they have excellent food, but they also are made for large parties. I don't want to do the same place two times in a row, however. So, where to go?

There's always the Olive Garden. P.F. Chang's has great food at great prices but their tables are too damned awkward for a large group. I was thinking that it might be fun to go someplace like Ribs USA; big tables, and enough meat to last a lifetime. I'm not settled, though, and I'm hoping for suggestions.
