Trade your powers?
If you could have any mutant/super power, which one would it be, and what would you do with it? (If you already have a mutant or super power, what one would you trade it in for?)
I don't know that I would, honestly. I mean, you gotta admit, my powers have gotten me out of a lot of impossible situations. I'd be dead without them, and that's pretty much a guarantee. I know a lot of people would want to fly or control fire or something equally as impressive looking, but honestly? I don't NEED any of that crap. And with the life I've led, being a mercenary and all, all that flashy stuff would have just gotten me killed even quicker. I'm amazed that Allerdyce has stayed alive as long as he has in his line of work. I guess it says something about his will power, but more than likely, he's got a little bit of luck all his own.
You know, I think the same could be said for Drake, too. Lord knows his mouth has written some checks his ass couldn't cash back in the day. Of course, the same could be said for me, but... as I said, I've got luck on my side. He's just got a matter of time. We all do.
I wouldn't even want to be an External. That living forever thing is just WAY too long for me. I was done the first time I checked out of this little pleasure pit called life, but evidently luck decided against me that round. So I'm still here.
So, no. I wouldn't trade it. Sometimes it bites me in the ass, but I would never have made it this far without it. However far that is, anyway. Somehow I don't think being able to do something like blow shit up with my mind would have worked out as well. For anyone.
