She made sure to stay out of sight, although she ached to reach out and help him, to feel his cool demeanor beneath her hands. WIth her scientific eyess, she saw him for what he was. Carbon. She could mine him from the dark cave he lived in and find the gem inside. Flawless from every angle, and priceless. She was willing to breathe life into it's dead spot, and watch it glow. He could be her diamond.
