IKEA rocks my socks. I need to go there again sometime soon.
Navy Pier is not worth is unless you are under 10 years old, or something good is playing at the IMAX theater there. I saw Fantasia 2000 at the IMAX there, and that is all I can say that is good about Navy Pier. The food and shopping is expensive, and it's nothing that you can't get anywhere else. But, I also believe that you must experience things for yourself. That's just my humble opinion of it.
yeah, I know it probably isn't so exciting, but it's still kinda fascinating to me because it was just a pier while I was growing up (I lived in chicago from 76, when I was born, til 94, when I left for college), and now it's this big touristy deal - so it would be more of a sociological observation than an actual desire to be there.
That's cool. I am still in the Chicago area, and I remember Navy Pier becoming the touristy place that it is now. Oh, if I remember right, they have Dippin Dots there, which is also a good thing, but mostly on hot summer days.
There will be some good people-watching subjects there for you, too!

Hi to you, too. Sorry to randomly comment without introducing myself.
Thanks. I kind of like all of the things on my interest list, too (except chicken).
I found you through my friendsfriends page. I am incredibly bored at work, and my friends don't update nearly enough, so I decided to check out my friends' friends.
