Holy cow, has it really been that long since I posted? I guess I will recap.
3/17-22: Went home to Chicago. The funeral was nice, and a lot more people showed up than I would have expected. I caught up with a couple of childhood friends from my neighborhood, and spent a good amount of time with my favorite aunt (who is actually my cousin some number of times removed). I ate a lot. Yay stress eating.
Last weekend, there was Scrabble, plus running errands.
The work days since then have been absolutely hectic. I've had four evening programs since my return, including one on a Sunday. My boss told me I had to take some time off during the week to make up for it (she's afraid that I'll go insane, which is not an unfair worry), so I'm home this morning until noon, when I have to go in and do my applicant interviews. We interview each student who's applying to med/dent/vet school, to give them practice and get to know them better. I've had four interview days since getting back as well, which means about 20 interviews, which are also tiring. I sat on the other side of an interview last night, for a video tour feature that will be available on Brandeis' admissions website.
This weekend, I hope to get a decent amount of quality time with my eight letter word list. There's a tournament coming up, and I want to do well.
Oh! I also got my magic yarn ball from this swap. I have to get around to posting pictures.
