You would think that purl stitching is easy. Well, for most perhaps it is the case. :-) I think that my left-handedness has screwed me up in some fashion. I cast on to the left needle and then switch hands and knit. I think that this might have resulted in all purl stitches? I'm not too sure. I'll have you observe and see what you can make of it. I'm sure that once I can get you to physically show me where the yarn is to be placed when making either stitch that I'll be fine. Diagrams don't work for me - if the needles are correct, then the yarn is on the wrong side or vice versa. You'll see :P
ah, left handed knitting. many books suggest holding the book itself up to the mirror and trying to learn like that. i think it's easier to learn from a person, so yes, i will see, once we find a time to get together.

That was rather cryptic, :) particularly since it didn't do anything. My curiosity is piqued. What sort of picture was supposed to be generated?
Have you been studying for your scrabble tournament?
I still need to learn how to knit (fancily).

I haven't studied as much as I should, but I will start this week.
We will knit some over that weekend. You could work on the purl stitch -- that's pretty easy, once you know the knit stitch.
