Ok home stretch on the head!
Eyeliner added, and tongue set...now tomorrow the neck!
First off, let's go back to that tongue. I stichted that open end together and got my glue gun ready. Grab some velcro, and cut 2 pieces...one piece of the "pile" (the softer part) and one piece of the "hook" (rougher part). The pile is going into the muzzle. If your tongue is too long, cut it.

And the hook goes onto the muzzle. Make sure your glue gun is on LOW.

Give the glue a few minutes to harden and then test fit:
Now onto eyeliner. Figure out how big around your eyes are, and then draw yourself a pattern on paper. (Thanks Las!) Cut it out and test fit. Like it? Good! Go get some fun foam and trace your pattern out onto them. Once again, test fit.

I chose a dark brown for mine.
Now the white rims on the eyes? That's where these are gonna attach, with a slight tilt to them (as a dog eye would have). Make sure all fur is out of the way and gun is still on LOW. Maybe recruit an extra set of paws (Thanks Vid!) Start on the inside corner and do a little at a time. Keep the fur out of the glue. Trust me.

Mind you, I need a better shirt, a belt that fits, and the neck added...but c'mon!! I'm cute!
