Well hello, LJ, long time!
So yeah, I kinda forgot to post all summer.
Rundown of the basics:
AC was bleh.
4th of July was a bbq at Helmet and Wifey's.
Randomly found and attended the Michigan Ave Car Cruise (tons of fun!)
Went to Ohio twice, once for my bro's graduation party, once to visit with my aunt before she went back to Australia and go to Cedar Point and a steak fry.
Went to Shiro's work picnic.
My job around the apartments kept me busy during the day, when it wasn't blazing hot.
Much swimming occurred due to the heat.
Went and played mini-golf with Shiro's family and had pizza for his bday. (also had a small gathering here as well)
Lots of other stuff I'm probably forgetting.
So yeah, WPAFW is out for us now due to family plans on both sides (going away with his family for my bday/his mom's bday and my cousin's wedding the weekend after), but we will be at MFF.
And finally, in other news, I'm sure you've all heard about the attempted Qu'ran burnings and the protests? Well, if not, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2-KgBhslBQ <--this guy (sorry, I suck at HTML shit) made the news for aborting the Amarillo, TX, protest.
So in searching around on youtube to see if there was an actual video of him snatching the Qu'ran from the minister behind the attempted burnings, we stumbled onto this gem:
