So we had a girl come and complain that a student of ours had beat up her boyfriend and she wanted to sue him for damages. She knows he's American, attends our school and is on a first name basis. (She's a local.)
After a bit of an interrogation the story is finally pieced together as follows:
The roles: The Girl, The BF, and The Student
The Girl goes to a bar and flirts and picks up The Student. They head back to her place to have SEX. In the midst of SEX The BF busts in and tries to beat up The Student. Subsequently The Student beats the shit out of The BF and leaves.
The End.
Right?
No, of course not, which is why I have this lovely story to share. Some peeps have suggested that it may be a scam, I am a little doubtful because if you were intending on pulling a scam then you would at least get contact information or a full name in order to hunt down the person you are intending to scam/sue. The Girl has neither of these things as I mentioned before she knows The Student's first name and the fact that he's American, maybe. I hinted that he might be Canadian and she got the "oh wait.... maybe?" face. Hm.
I may or may not have to visit a police station tomorrow to play interpreter tomorrow, provided The Girl or The BF can figure out who they're trying to file a report on/sue.
