More of me whinging about the psycho 先生.
So the terrorist student came in and said that he'd already spent his Sept scholarship stipend--he'd just received it Sept 30th and it was 25,000 NTD (just under 1,000 USD)--and he was unable to pay his tuition.
Then he blamed it on me.
He said that I'd told him he could wait until he'd received two stipends before paying the scholarship, otherwise he wouldn't have spent his Sept stipend so quickly.
Um.... he was not the only scholarship student who received a temporary tuition payment waiver, although he was the only one who failed to come in and pay the tuition when the first stipend came in. He's also been the only one who's attempted to blame me for it.
He went and whined to our director and asked for another extension on his payment because I'd "lied" to him. He also demanded that I "confess" to misinforming him, which of course I didn't. Our director said that if he failed to pay the tuition by this coming Friday that we'd withhold any further scholarship stipends. Yay!
Then I had to write a nice formal letter to the Ministry of Education and to the Taiwan Economic Cultural Representative Office which are both issuing parties of his scholarship to notify them of the situation. So that if it comes to us withholding his scholarship or him going to complain to the offices about our staff or school we've already beat him to the punch. I really hate doing this kind of thing but he's so aggressive, paranoid and backstabbing I agree that we don't have better options.
