Addiction
You are the drug I can't get out
of my system;
Ten months of rehabilitation
proved useless in my attempt
to rid of you completely
You crash into me
spiraling out of control
and I can't
help myself -
I spiral after you.
You've dragged me in this game
of sinful seducion
where secrets unfold beneath warm skins
and the slightest touches lead
to paradise.
Lay down your cards,
I'll challenge you.
Every addiction leads to
destruction.
What makes you think
you're no different?

Distraction
Hazy thoughts blur
that straight-edged path
I've constructed in my existence.
You are the bright glow
standing out in my black and white world
refusing to blend,
destroying my orderly palette.
I cannot blot you out and
the frustration builds up
for I cannot
get you out of my mind.
(Your smile blinds
my already blurred vision
and you have left a permanent
imprint in my
blissful fantasies)
You
are utter chaos
and I
am loving it.

What happens in Bora, Stays in Bora
My heart beats
with the deafening rhythm
of drums, of techno,
of sex-laced music.
The lights play with the
dark of my hair, burning
brightly
burning fiercely.
Alcohol floods my throat
shocking my system
and slowly spins circles
in the crazed world I have
indulged in.
Someone takes my hand
and blindly I follow
until the darkness
and the soft feel of sand
against my skin
drowns everything into a
faint pulse.
