80s Fantasy movies
Steve and I have been talking about 80s fantasy movies, so I'm adding them onto my Netflix queue, interspersed between volumes of "Fullmetal Alchemist" which we're watching from beginning to end. (Dang that show got dark early!) Anyway, so far I've added:
Ladyhawke
Krull
The Beastmaster
Clash of the Titans (one of my faves--go Ray Harryhausen!)
Willow
Labyrinth
Any others we should add? "Dark Crystal" had me comatose with boredom in the 80s but I was also very hyperactive then and it might not bore me now, any insight? I know "Dragonslayer" isn't on the list, and that's because while it did hold my attention, it was with anger at how much it was offending my adolescent feminist sensibilities. That movie is SEXIST. I mean, they all are from that era, but that was one where I just couldn't shrug it off the way you had to in those days.
