The Army still hasn't paid me, but we got the first of our tax refunds. Steve and I ended up going to dinner last night, not to celebrate, but because he'd been doing some legal writing (for pay) all day and nothing was ready. He really wanted to go to QQ Revolving Sushi downtown, so we did. It's mostly American-tailored rolls, with some nigiri, but it's fresh and reasonably priced. We got out for $35, including our iced tea and tip. Plus it's fun to watch the conveyor belt go around the dining room, and there is the advantage of being able to sit at the table, nab something off the belt, and start eating immediately.
We decided to stop DirecTV. Between Netflix and HuluPlus, we can get everything we usually watch, and at a savings of $70/month. That's a lot of cabbage right there. HuluPlus has the WWE shows that aren't on WWE Network (which is only NINE NINETY-NINE A MONTH). And I just realized that makes our TV budget $30/month. Still less than $98/month.
I'm getting more and more tired and my intention is to binge-watch Netflix this weekend.
