I have one weekend OFF from the Army in March.

I think the chances of me finding and keeping a job are slim to none. Five weekdays are also involved.

April is starting to look kind of bad, too.

I really, really want out, but the question of health insurance keeps popping up.

Don't you think you could get a job in the private sector that would pay enough to cover premiums for you and Steve? Even if it took 100% your pay, you'd be buying out of the Army. Heck, my back-up chef at the Abbey works 20 hours a week and barely makes enough to cover the cost of the insurance premiums for him and family -- but he's doing it for the insurance, it's worth it to him.

I'm looking for a job right now. The market is TIGHT in SD though. I do have another enlistment contract signed, but since I'd be turning down a $10,000 bonus by having it rescinded the Army might go for it.
