Guidelines for Kishin Egg NPCs
This journal will be used for the game's Kishin Egg NPCing needs. This includes things like events and missions.
Kishin egg players may contribute to the mission board if they want. Particularly one and two-star missions. Of course, these missions will have to be scheduled and NPCed by you, but just send mission proposals to the mod email (soulcampaign at gmail dot com) and any details you like so they can be included in the list of missions we have for deployment.
Kishin eggs have various power levels according to the mission ranks. With the exception of missions with a great number of kishin eggs, missions are usually ranked by how strong the accompanying kishin eggs are.
One-star mission Kishin Eggs [★]:
These are your usual cannon fodder. No personalities and just your usual hungry baddies. Their priority is to eat souls and gain power, though some can be a somewhat smart and sneaky about it.
They are generally rabid and deformed, all claws and fangs. In terms of power and strength, these kishin eggs are about as strong as two people. All the kishin eggs you have thus far encountered except for Adachi fall into this category.
Two-star mission Kishin Eggs [★★]:
These are the ones who have become strong enough/have eaten enough souls to regain their former intellect/identities--in kishin egg form and general crazy. While not necessarily a lot stronger, they are more intelligent and cunning by leaps and have the dubious privilege of having their own personalities.
How to Claim a Mission
Before anything else, check the
Mission Board for the missions listed.
The mods will be updating this page with one and two-star missions. The characters will be claiming missions by commenting on this mission post.
To claim a mission that you want to NPC, just comment back on their thread with the intent to NPC the kishin egg(s) for them, either using this journal or your personal/character journals (it would help for them to know who is the person going to be behind their mission baddy).
And that's it! Some players may want some specific things to happen to their characters in the mission, so it's up to you to coordinate with them on it.
For more specific instructions/notes, this post has screened comments that you can check.
