I have officially stopped eating shark fin soup in 2006. Why did I ate such a thing in the first place? Because my family pressured me to do so. Delicacy and etiquette wise they say - you don't refuse that kind of special food, that sort of shit. I'm ashamed that I only stopped recently and weren't able to encourage my Chinese family as well (except Lanie, because she's the one that encouraged me)
We all know that the Earth is pretty much screwed up already, extinction, global warming, nuclear waste, there's no end to the list.
So please please please stop your contribution to the destruction of the ocean's ecology.
And a major FUCK YOU to the Chinese guy that brought back Shark Fin's to the menu. He was mentioned in a Discovery Travel and Living Show that featured Chinese's "heavenly food" but I forgot his shitty name.
I know other nations also eat shark so fuck you too. And please stop saying its tradition, it a very very very lame excuse.
