DOING THE BEST THAT WE CAN
two weeks into the last semester of my high school life!
Chinese is pretty much awesome, we have a teacher named Mr. Li who tells us crazy stories about China and about when he learned English and he tells us that our characters look pregnant or cute and pretty and such. On Fridays we paper fold for the last 20 minutes and then have competitions "to kill our friends and absorb five victories to become the super woman."
Tomorrow, after much debating and phone calls, I am going to see some of my cousins. We shall listen to The Polyphonic Spree on the way up and then maybe play Apples To Apples and hopefully it will be a good, well-rounded day.
ALSO, Nick is sending me YOTSUBA&! 1 and says he'll be here for my graduation! I have been meaning to ask him for months if he will, but been afraid of the answer, so I just shouted it at him today on the phone. Here's to hoping that won't change, because that is what I want most in the world, just for him to be there.
