so I go to the bookstore. and make one of the hardest decisions of my life. no joke. over Atemis Fowl fifth book or Faerie Wars third book.
maybe if they both weren't in hardcover! I sat there in a state of mental war for about ten minutes. during this time, I came to the conclusion that I would most likely, at some point in time, buy both of them. and that both of their plotlines this time are centered around demons. I spent a good deal of time pondering how that happened.
I ended up picking the Faeire Wars one, which this time around is called Ruler of the Realm.
I bought this one because a) it was longer and therefore keep me at bay longer and b) they usually have the AF books at the library and c) I recently finished the second FW book whereas I can't remember when I read The Opal Deception.
and well, so much for hoping a book was going to last me a while, I am almost finished with it.
the humor is still there. Chapter 48 made me laugh really hard at how it was only two lines and what it contained. however, the book is really eerie now with this crazy plot and what the main character did and what former enemies true intentions are.
the thing that stunned me the most was how none of the character are that innocent of anything anymore. I guess it's just their way of coping with the hardships each of them bear.
